No First Time Homebuyer Requirement!
21 Counties in Georgia have been selected to participate in a recovery program due to the floods in 2009. These counties include the following Metro Atlanta counties:
Cherokee, Cobb, Dekalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Douglas, Newton and more.
Purchase Price up to: $300,000
Here are the basic parameters:
· Borrower must have a minimum credit score of 660
· Liquid asset restrictions do apply
· Down payment assistance amount is $5,000 if the purchase price is $150,000 or less
· Down payment assistance is $7,500 if the purchase price is more than $150,000
· Must be used in conjunction with a Georgia Dream first Mortgage loan
· Home Buyer Education is required
· Income restrictions of up to $100,000 apply depending on number of applicants and county
